Sapa Easy Trekking 2 Days
Sapa, originally a hill station, is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit. The main attraction other from the scenic beauty of the place is the extremely low budget. Hence, many trekkers use Sapa as a base from where they can proceed on hikes to the remote villages. The best part is that you will be in the lap of nature at all times. The place can get very cold in the winters. You can visit the Can Cau Market, a shantytown in the true sense of the word. You will find the houses with the thatched roofs high in the mountains. This village is just about 9 km away from China. You can find many traders procuring their items from across the border.
The best place to visit is the Bac Ha Sunday market where the people can pick up your weekly requirements. As far as tourists are concerned, they can pick up items such as a bottle of the local firewater or even the handicrafts manufactured by the local tribes. As compared to Sapa, Bac Ha is less crowded. You can arrive here midweek and have a relaxed time. At a comparatively lower height than Sapa, the weather is much warmer.
